About Gloria
I've always been an artist. My mom would tell people she could take me anywhere as long as I had a pencil and paper. My classmates in middle and high school were often asking me to do portraits of their boyfriend or girlfriend. I majored in drawing in college, then later, after marriage and a couple of kids, got my degree in graphic design. I have many years of experience working in ad agencies and studios as an art director, as an illustrator for McGraw-Hill and as a drawing and design professor for a local college.
While I do acrylic and water color painting, I primarily work in color pencil and pastels. I have also done several large murals for schools, businesses and churches as well as children's rooms for private homes.

"I am always doing that which I cannot do, in order that I may learn how to do it."
